Purchasing Manager

We have an opportunity for the position of Purchasing Manager/ Procurement Manager fore one of a leading company in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible to handle all aspects of the procurement of spares and stores for his/her assigned vessels.
• Able to source the best Marine inventory at the shortest span of time at most economical way.
• Monitor vessels’ schedules and provide timely status updates of each requisition and the delivery status to vessels and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage Quotation, Purchase Order, Delivery Order, and Invoice on a timely manner to correspondence party.
• Manage relationship with Ship Owners, Vendors
• Coordinate and support operational projects as assigned by Superior.
• Monitor the service quality and performance provided from vendors and to the clients.
• Identifying process improvements, working out and implementing solution to continuously optimize our performance.
Job Requirements:
• Should be available in UAE
• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain management
• 5- years work-related experience in Vessel Procurement
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with and through people at all levels.
• Able to commit immediately or on short notice will be an advantage.
