About you
You have a passion for logistics and to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing retail environment. You are driven to exceed goals through people. You have interest for home furnishing, people life at home, and the IKEA range.
About the role
You are responsible to contribute to a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability of our offer, with high quality and at lowest possible total cost.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
Operational
To unpack boxes and inspecting items for damage and then labeling acceptable items with bar codes and storing them in the stockroom.
Send merchandise to the correct departments and keeping track of items using hand-held scanners and computers.
Ensure all goods inflow are carried out as per company policy, systems and procedures.
Collect customer returns from the customer refund counter and return to warehouse.
Ensure all goods that are not of sound quality are taken care of as per the company systems and procedures.
To ensure all items are correctly handled and stocked so as to maintain items in good condition.

Live and share the IKEA values every day
High School Graduate
1-2 years experience in similar role
Skilled in retail and/or logistics processes and working methods.
Ability to prioritise and organise individual work duties to make the most efficient use of time available.
Knowledge of basic reading, writing and mathematics skills.
Enjoy taking personal initiative and exceeding goals.
Must be able to lift heavy weight and bend for long periods
Enjoy working with logistics in a fast-paced and constantly changing retail environment.
