Job Description
Carry out maintenance, modification, installation, repair and troubleshooting of the Offshore telecommunications systems (including EPAX, various radios, public address and associated equipment in the M/F, H/F, VHF and UHF bands and other associated equipment such as that related to TV and video entertainment i.e., satellite dish, antenna, survival craft telecommunication equipment (GMDS), visual alarms (location in equipment of high db-levels), intercom system etc.) in accordance with established schedule to ensure effective functionality, reliability and efficiency in accordance with the company maintenance procedures.
Provide technical assistance to all IT users through installation of hardware, software and administrator domain exchanges, e-mails and networks and supporting all IT databases and database recovery to ensure adequate and timely technology support and problem resolution
Education / Qualifications
Required: Completion of Secondary (12 years) education plus two years of full time training in the telecommunications / electronics or IT
