Responsibility 1: Quality Control and Assurance
Work Standards:
1. Monitors, inspects and assures the quality of all products at all times that adheres to company standards set by the management and as defined by the expectations of our customers.
2. Ensure the accurate quality checking of tea blending processing, packaging materials and tea packaging operations on line.
3. Conducts on line quality checks to ensure conformance to the tea blend and product specifications.
Responsibility 2: Quality Validation
Work Standards:
1. Conducts routine checking for all running machines, validating operators work and the checklist to maintain conformance to quality control requirements.
2. Perform analytical testing as required to determine compliance of raw materials and finished products against specification. Consolidates all rejected materials (incoming and on-line rejection).
3. Monitors the quality of manufactured products and raw materials through specified frequency of analysis using calibrated and validated equipment as approved by the company.
4. Monitors and inspect operations and quality conformance for blending, raw tea, reclaim tea, aged product, mobile hopper and fruity line.
Responsibility 3: Coordination and Communication
Work Standards:
1. Responsible for entering and following-up non-conformances and ensure that corrective action takes place.
2. Liaise with Head of Quality on the management of NCR and follow-up for intra/inter-departmental corrective actions, and other company facilities towards the shared quality objective.
3. Generates rejection report and follow-up with Purchase and Accounts for debit notes.
4. Facilitate effective dialogue between machine operators, technicians/engineers, and warehouse towards continuous collective improvement.
