As demand for electricity and water continues to grow at a fast pace governments across the Middle East are launching a variety of strategic initiatives in the field of energy efficiency to promote a more sustainable tomorrow.
Sustainable Recruitment Solutions (SRS) is currently recruiting an Events & Capacity Building Manager to work with the Energy Efficiency and Renewables Department of the government of Ras Al Khaimah to assume responsibility for the creation & subsequent roll-out of an Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy capacity building program.
The main focus of work during the launch stage will be to organise an industry-wide conference in 2019 which will attract and educate a variety of public & private sector organisations upon the aims and opportunities of the projects being launched by the Energy Efficiency & Renewables Department. Subsequently we are primarily interested in candidates with a strong events management background and capability
Additional tasks will include:
1. Awareness
o Organization and preparation of workshops in support to the EE&R;Office (Including all aspects of it, from contracting third parties to program management and execution of in-house tasks)
o Design and implementation of consumer programs
o Awareness campaigns
o PR and social media
2. Capacity building
o Training program design
o Training execution (including all aspects of it, e.g., contracting third parties, training coordination, management of any fees)
o Planning development of the EE&R;team
المهارات
• University Education in a relevant subject - preferably within a technical or engineering field related to the energy sector.
• 4+ year experience in the field of sustainable developments
• Organised, systematic approach to program development - preferable profile is for a management consultant who has assumed responsibility for the full life-cycle of a project.
• Dynamic personality who will energise a wide range of internal & external stakeholders on the opportunity at hand.
• Language(s): English required, Arabic is a plus
