Direct and supervise site activities and manage the subcontractors and direct workforce.
Ensure that all construction works at sites are well planned and coordinated.
Oversee manpower, equipment, and materials to sustain the work efficiency.
Carry out inspections to ensure conformity with QA/QC specifications and requirements
Provides technical advices to resolve problems.
Coordinate with Project Manager for procurement of tools and materials to conform to the workloads, plans and schedules.
Review reports from Superintendents, and advise on corrective actions if project becomes behind schedule or over the budget.
المهارات
Bachelor degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years as Construction Manager on road/infrastructure projects. Airport construction experience preferable.
5 years of experience UAE preferred
Experience overseeing Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Foreman’s, Charge hands and workers.
Must be motivated and have strong leadership skills
Must have knowledge of civil and structural codes
Has excellent oral & written communication in English and Arabic
