Job Description Research assistant position in Veterinary Anatomy and Surgery. The successful applicant will work within a research project for 2 years at the veterinary medicine department.The successful candidate will assist in implementing the work set out in the Research Grant Proposal” Anatomical, radiographic and ultrasonographic study of the thoracic and pelvic articulations of One-humped Camel (Camelus dromedarius)”. This will involve sample collection from the abattoir, dissection and histological examination, synovial casting, radiography, ultrasound guided aspiration as well as ultrasonography. The researcher will play an active role in documentation and preparation of scientific publications.
Minimum Qualification Bachelor in veterinary medicine. Applicants must have a very strong command of English with very evident proficiency in scientific writing.
Preferred Qualification Master degree in Veterinary Medicine with experience in anatomy and ultrasonography fields. Strong background in anatomical dissection, histological examination and ultrasonography. An evident publication records in reputable journals related to the field.
