Setup and self-start the tax function in the company from scratch in line with tax regulations and guidelines, identify tax affected procedures and functions within the company and accordingly highlight process changes required to affected units and request amendments.
Plans and recommends tax strategies by reviewing and researching tax regulations and guidelines and ensures compliance with tax regulations and laws at all times.
Review all tax transactions, accounting, submissions, returns and other prepared by tax accountants before submission to tax authorities.
Ensure system and ERP compliance with tax regulations and guidelines, accuracy and correctness of tax entries created and generated.
Research and consult on various tax matters and stay up to date on tax regulations updates and changes.
Reviews and reconciles tax provisions and balances in line with returns, payments and deferred tax requirements.
Respond to the tax authorities and tax related government agencies on tax inquiries as and when requested.
Ensures and verifies the proper filing of all tax documents in line with local tax regulations and guidelines as well as financial and tax audit requirements.
Provide tax training and advisory to internal users on tax changes, procedures and compliance requirements.
Perform any other duties requested by management.
المهارات
Good technical proficiency, literacy skills and a competent computer user.
Strong Accountancy experience good analytical skills and good understanding and working knowledge of book keeping.
