Manage a team of 3-5 estimators and ensure they consistently deliver accurate and timely estimates.
Participate in the development of pricing strategies to ensure they align with the company’s objectives while keeping the costs in check and maintaining a benchmark of the industry.
Maintain effective communication with the sales team to ensure an understanding of the customer’s requirements.
Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that estimates align with the available capacity, material costs and operational efficiencies.
Review completed estimates and continually revise or update them as required to maintain market competitiveness and help realize project profitability.
Prepare cost schedules and pricing workbooks using excel in addition to project planning and understanding profitability analysis for management review.
Implement and maintain an effective estimation process that ensures estimates are aligned with industry standards, company values, and profitability goals.
Continuously analyse and monitor the data and project variations to identify areas of potential cost savings, waste reduction, and profitability.
المهارات
Candidate to have costing experience, excellent knowledge and command of Excel to head the team of estimators in the furniture manufacturing industry.
Should be able to manage a team of 3-5 estimators and ensure accuracy and efficiency in the estimation of projects.
Preferably Male, presentable age of 30 years and above
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in estimation and controlling internal costs.
Minimum of 3 years of experience holding a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
Possesses an excellent command and knowledge of Excel and other related software applications.
Thorough knowledge of material costs, labor costs, and manufacturing processes and varied fluctuations for flexibility in bidding.
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels of the organization, including the ability to present data-analysis and reports to senior executives.
Must be vast Knowledge of estimating and project tracking manually and by using software tools such as AutoCAD, etc.
Experience in Fit Out and Furniture manufacturing industry.
