We’re seeking a Tumor Registrar to join our healthcare organization in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for cancer data management, ensuring accurate and complete records, casefinding, abstracting, and follow-up. They will work closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and support the delivery of quality cancer care.
Responsibilities:
Review medical records and identify cancer cases for inclusion in the cancer registry
Abstract and code relevant data into the cancer registry database
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of cancer registry data
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
Provide education to healthcare professionals and the community about the cancer registry and cancer-related topics
المهارات
Qualifications:
Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) is a plus
Associate’s degree in Health Information Management or related field
2+ years of experience in cancer registry or related healthcare field
Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and cancer registry software
