Fleet Dispatcher

Fleet dispatchers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Communicating with drivers about their current location, estimated time of arrival at the next destination, and any delays that may occur
Monitoring traffic patterns and adjusting dispatch routes as needed to ensure efficient delivery of goods
Maintaining records for all shipments, including pickup and delivery times and locations, shipping methods, and carriers used
Ensuring safety by monitoring driver behavior and adherence to safety policies, as well as maintaining driver logs
Communicating with dispatch supervisors regarding issues that may require immediate attention such as accidents or breakdowns
Preparing reports on daily activities and statistics to managers
