Geophysical Unit Head

We are urgently looking for the position of Geophysical Unit Head in the Abu Dhabi Location.
Job Description:
• Geophysical and Topographical Department In-charge shall be responsible for the overall technical & site operations matters related to the (Geophysical & Topographical) Divisions and shall report to the Lab Manager.
• Ensure full compliance of routine operation of the (Geophysical & Topographical) works i.e. site inspection, site activities, job instructions to site crews, Data Analyzing etc.
• Ensure that the agreed price list approved by Lab Manager shall be followed.
• Shall be responsible in processing the customer orders ensuring that the customer requirements are met in accordance with the contract specifications and applicable standard methods.
• Ensure that adequate contract review is being carried out with respect to the technical matters and shall the Lab Manager accordingly.
• Verify and approve the (Geophysical & Topographical) reports submitted by the engineer.
• Clarify client’s doubts regarding the survey results and analysis procedures adopted.
• Coordinate with the other Units Head (Geotechnical & Material) regarding the scheduling of site activities relevant to the approved projects.
• Ensure full compliance with the laboratories own policies and procedures as well as with the ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO 9001.
• Ensures that all staff under his control are adequately trained and experienced in their discipline to perform their duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Ensure availability of adequate resources to meet the customer requirements and where additional resources are required, the same shall be communicated to the Lab Manager.
• Ensure good housekeeping in the department and ensure that all staff adapts to the necessary safety measures while at work.
• Responsible for updating the demand for software regarding technical concerns with the approval of the Laboratory Manager.
• All invoices, submitted by the Finance department shall be checked for technical matters against the quotations.
Requirements:
• Holder of Valid UAE driving license.
• UAE experience is Must (AUH experience is desirable)
• Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics.
