The primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer is to sell MDC’s services and products, through finding unique ways to engage and increase the customer base, and representing the company in a professional manner.
Directly responsible for establishing new, and maintaining existing, business contacts, to drive sales of MDC’s services and products.
Daily meetings with new and existing clients to build relations, perform presentations and demonstrations of company services.
Maintain and update MDC’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with all sales activities and opportunity progression.
Ensure all project requirement data is collected from the clients, and review scope of work, project plans and contractual aspects with Operations and the Head of Sales.
Follow up with Operations and clients to verify successful completion of jobs and conduct post-job follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow up with Finance and Operations teams to ensure that invoicing is done correctly and that payments are collected as per contracts.
Possess in-depth knowledge of MDC’s services and value propositions, as well as the main market drivers for the agriculture sector in the UAE.
Provide timely, accurate and complete input to the Head of Sales regarding market, clients, competitors, opportunities and forecast.
Conducts market surveys, competitor analysis and other data gathering as needed to understand market forces.
Meet and exceed relevant KPIs and monthly / quarterly / yearly sales targets.
Be a brand ambassador through representing the company in a professional manner, conducting all business ethically and otherwise reflecting MDC’s values at all times
Adhere to MDC’s Code of Conduct, Quality / HSE and other relevant policies and procedures, as well as all legal requirements.
Work closely with all internal departments such as Operations, Administration, etc., and key external stakeholder.
Performs other related duties and Responsibilities as assigned by MDC Head of Sales.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Degree / MBA in Sales & Marketing would be an added advantage. Agriculture experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience working in public and private sectors within sales.
Extensive experience in developing sales across UAE.
Experience from agriculture sector from farm management, equipment / services supplier or similar
