Role Overview
Training & Development Officer performs & evaluates Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Skills/Competency Gap Assessments, Hospitality Trainings & Best Practices. Develop and implement successful and innovative learning and development programs, Yearly Training Calendar, Assessment Tools & Techniques, Training Policies & Procedures, Training Records & Outcomes Management.
Responsibilities
Takes a strategic approach to training, assessing the skills and knowledge within an organisation and determining training needs to grow and retain critical skills.
Responsible for identifying Staff training and development needs regularly, and for planning, organising and overseeing appropriate trainings.
Deliver trainings and/or arrange for a third-party Trainer to do it to constantly equip & train Staff with the required knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their work activities effectively.
Create and/or deliver a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning.
Develop & produce training materials for in-house courses and create a reference library.
Write, review and develop Training Policies and Procedures to ensure they are relevant, up to date and reflective of training standards.
Evaluating department development needs, advising management on the training resources, and facilitating cost-effective and efficient trainings for Employees.
Assisting with trainings plans across the organization to implement change & improvement initiatives linking together people, process and systems.
Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
Support HR Manager and the HR Team with training initiatives that help shape and deliver continuous personnel development.
Co-ordinate training strategies for Employees with Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) & with skill gaps identified in the Annual Appraisals.
Identify and recommend areas of improvement in training activities, services, policies and processes.
Design and coordinate employee training feedbacks & surveys, evaluate training programmes, facilitating and producing training effectiveness reports to summarise return on investments (ROI) and offer recommendations to support training performance improvement.
Training & development ERP implementation to drive effectiveness & efficiencies and improve training data recording & retrievals.
Ensure that statutory training requirements as per our industry requirements are met & track necessary licenses/certifications renewals.
Provide accurate and timely advice to employees on all aspects of their training needs.
Present complicated and in-depth trainings statistics & reports based on the management request.
Provide operational support to various HR functions & projects.
Undertake any other reasonable request made by Management or the HR Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Training Management or Trainer Skills Certifications.
Preferred Experience:
5 to 7 years of working experience in a similar role in the Human Resources Department.
Proven work experience as a T&D;professional imparting in-house Trainings.
Working experience with Training Softwares & Tools.
Advance PC proficiency on MS Office skills on Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of various Training & Development strategies.
Good understanding of UAE Labour Laws.
Ability to work in a critical & challenging environment.
Exceptional English verbal & written communication & active listening skills.
Ability to demonstrate good leadership & proactive working skills.
Good conflict resolution & employee relations aptitude.
Ability to work as a part of a team & manage time efficiently.
Strong work ethics.
Operating Environment:
While main duties are predominately carried out in the HR Department, work may be required in other areas of the property.
