Director of Project Controls - Metro RailSpearhead the Project Control Department by overseeing the formulation and administration of a range of complex and high-volume contracts, budgets and schedules and maintain oversight of resultant changes pertinent to costs and quantities by ensuring that all the required documentation and correspondences are managed, stored and disseminated in a manner that aligns with internally established frameworks, standards and protocols.Establish business performance management systems to ensure achievement of business strategy and corporate performance indicators, which are aligned with Company Vision, Mission, Values and Business Plans. • Hold regular meetings with the BOD/Board nominated Committees to review progress against plans and discuss important issues requiring top management and/or Board. • Advise the Senior Management on any significant risks including unpredictable/unforeseen events/issues as necessary in order to address unresolved matters. • Ensure the effective utilization of resources to deliver the output of the strategic plan. • Hold regular meetings with the senior management team to review progress and discuss important matters requiring top management attention. • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and business partners by overseeing and coordinating mutually beneficial relationships built on understanding of internal policies and strategic priorities.Oversee the formulation and establishment of complex, integrated and high-valued contractual arrangements for a range of infrastructure and system related contracts and/or consultancy services pertaining to Metro Rail, as per defined contracting strategy.Ensure continuous liaison and coordination is maintained with contractors and consultants in order to monitor compliance levels with contract requirements and specifications, to effectively and timely deliver the packages and systems’ scope of work.Monitor and assess contractors’ performance against determined criteria and compliance to contract specifications and obligations and evaluate the need for amendments, extension of contracts or remedial action where deemed necessary, to best serve the needs and requirements.Supervise and manage the database development and maintenance in order to more effectively track Etihad Rail’s project payment activities, contractual milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs) as applicable, among other related contractual requirements.Supervise the management and implementation of SAP and contract deliverables database relevant to contract administration, contract numbering and contract payment and ensure continuous maintenance is carried out to ensure a seamless workflow is preserved.Value of contracts • Performance against budget and objectives • Number of contracts • Volume of correspondence, documentation, drawings, etc. • Works in support of the financial goals of the Business Unit.SAP implementation.
