Mechanical Technician required
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Project: Shutdown
Start Date: from end of November 2021
Duration: 5-6 months (shutdown)
Minimum Requirements:
• Min of 5 years’ experience in rotating equipment repairs, within the oil/gas industry or related industry.
• Participates in the major equipment shutdown and turn-around in the Plant.
• Perform overhaul of centrifugal compressors barrel & split type, Screw compressors, Multi-stage steam turbines, gear boxes, Fans, Trip-throttle valve & governor valves.
• Performs the correct measurement of clearances, tolerances, and alignment using laser alignment machine. Familiar with the use of a wide range of precision instruments such as laser optic micrometers, gauges calipers and etc.
