MEP Supervisor - Electrical

o Lead a team of technical field staff and provide technical support to assist service delivery and to promote a safe, efficient, reliable, and compliant operation.

o Development and execution of efficiency and process improvements to assist the on time delivery of planned and corrective maintenance activities.

o Develop positive business relationships with co-workers, line manager and client representatives that lead to increased safety, reliability, and efficiency for all assets and equipment.

o Review work orders for corrective maintenance and balance them with the planned maintenance schedule, priorities tasks in order of importance.

o Manage the planning and delivery of various predictive maintenance tasks and prepare the necessary related reports.

o Maintain on site CAFM system by updating through the site PDA’s, ensure that SLA’s are monitored and met in line with contractual requirements.

o Plan and execute PPM tasks in line with contractual requirements ensuring 100% compliance at all times.

o Work with MEP Coordinator to suggest changes to the planning of tasks in order to aid service delivery and meet contractual KPI’s.

o Assist to respond to reported issues and coordinate efficient and effective responses.

o Monitor subordinates workloads and ensure that they remain productive at all times. Monitor individuals output and report any shortfalls accordingly.

o Periodically check quality of work and completed tasks to ensure that a high standard is delivered and maintained in line with the company requirements.

o Work with facilities engineer to identify and suggest training needs specific to the maintenance of facilities and equipment on site.

Any other reasonable task/responsibility requested by the line manager.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

o Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintaining MEP Systems in which 4 years in a supervisory role.

o Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of cooling towers, chilled water pumps and fresh air handling units, MCC panels, distribution boards etc.

o Ability to troubleshoot control panels with different configurations.

o Ability to understand BMS logs and interpret engineering drawings.

o Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in maintenance and repair of HVAC and electrical systems.

o Ability to read manuals, drawings and tasks sheets and prepare inspection reports.

o Demonstrable experience of delivering PPM/CM to a high standard

o Record of dealing with difficult people and situations and making appropriate judgement decisions.

o Record of implementing systems to effectively record, address and finalize maintenance issues.
