Maintenance Planner / Work Pack Writer (Nuclear Operations)

$70,000 to $100,000 per year plus serviced accommodation, transport, meals, etc…
The Project
· Working for one of the main contractors on Unit 2 of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
The Responsibilities
Walk down the systems, check the physical layout and correctness of components. Some will need to be experienced radiation workers.
Identify ancillary support systems (scaffolding, lagging, heat treatment, spares, tooling, NDT) required to complete the work.
Identify the relevant procedures and safety documentation to include in the work pack
Generate work pack documentation for upload to SAP. With an understanding of the various sections in the work pack. Specifically safety docs, tools, spares & consumables, scope, maintenance steps, technical references, post maintenance testing, etc..
Resolve technical queries with system engineers.
Get all the necessary client sign offs.
Support upload to SAP.

The Candidate
Formal qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
3+ years in maintenance planning at a nuclear power plant.
Strong background in planning robust maintenance schedules at a nuclear power plant.
