This role is instrumental to the ongoing implementation and development of the technology strategy, the Business Technology and Innovation Manager will act as a business partner to advise business units on the correct technology to service each division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in transformation roles within the utilities sector, you may also come from a consultancy background advising on IT transformation programmes globally.
Key responsinilities:
• Development and implementation of an IT strategy and operating model aligned to the Group s broader long term IT vision.
• Lead and manage all employees in the Technology and Innovation division.
• Develop and mentor the team, identifying the require skills and knowledge to build success.
• Communicate the Group s strategic objectives to the team, promoting company culture and values.
• Advise Senior Business leaders about updates on the implementation of strategy roadmap and transformation plan.
• Manage relationships with IT suppliers to improve the Group s overall IT performance and the roll out of new systems.
• Lead all customer facing transactions in line with Group customer strategy whilst continuously supporting the Group s customer focused culture.
• Lead and manage the team in performing delegated tasks, aligning on company goals, performance reporting and continuous improvement of the Division.
• Promote cross functional collaboration with Senior leadership across internal teams
• Lead the identification of technology needs to ensure that divisional processes are performed efficiently and cost effectively.
