Mindtales is a start-up based in a rapidly expanding and thriving tech-hub in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Our mission is to transform the mental landscape in the Middle East by making digital wellness support accessible, convenient and inclusive. Our organisation is launching an innovative application that will provide high-quality digital therapy courses and online counseling services to individuals in the Middle East. It’s important to us that our community has access to the latest research-based emotional support. That’s why we’ve also partnered with certified psychiatrists and scientists.

As a fast-growing organisation, we’re searching for qualified and licensed mental health professionals and certified coaches to champion our online counselling services. We’re looking for highly motivated and compassionate individuals. With the Mindtales platform, you can upgrade your practice by tailoring your profile to best display your specialities. Our in-app calendar, scheduling and dashboard features enable you to accept, schedule or cancel your sessions as needed. The MindTales platform also provides adequate data privacy and encryption for safe and secure conversations with clients.

A great benefit is that you’ll have full control over your schedule and can choose to join us on a part-time or full-time basis. We’ll handle the online billing and transfers. And based on your profile and speciality, we’ll match you with individuals seeking therapy.

Technicalities:

You will be working as an individual practitioner through the platform
Clients will directly book sessions with you
You have control over what you set as your hourly rate
You are able to set your availability
Mindtales does not offer visa sponsorships

Online Therapist Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality online therapy to clients through our video-call, audio-call and messaging services
Set up touch points and maintain regular contact with your clients
Document interactions using standard therapy protocols and tracking of clients’ progress in line with legal requirements
Familiarity with the MindTales CBT course and digital therapy exercises
Strict adherence to our community guidelines and maintenance of client confidentiality at all times

Online Therapist Requirements:

An official and valid license from any city/state
Residents within the United Arab Emirates must obtain approval or license to practice from relevant health authorities in the region
Valid indemnity insurance or malpractice insurance
Proven experience as a licensed counselor and confident in handling the nuances of delivering online therapy
Interest in using technological solutions to client care
Able to commit a minimum of 4 hours each week as an online therapist
Excellent and stable internet connection
