Refrigeration Technician

Purpose of the role:
To perform preventative maintenance of refrigeration& Air-Conditioning systems in order to avoid future problems or breakdowns. This involves working on mechanical and electrical components of the systems.

I. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Install new refrigeration & Air- Conditioning systems. Read blueprints and schematics, understand compliance standards, know local building codes and apply welding and soldering techniques as required.
b. Diagnose problems and make repairs to existing equipment. Apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure the system is working properly following repairs.
c. Upgrade systems to satisfy new regulations or meet new standards.
d. Performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration& AC units. This entails following a checklist of parts and operations that need to be tested during a routine inspection of existing equipment, such as compressors, condensers, electrical connections and motor operations.
e. Handle all refrigeration & AC repair works arise at the parlor on a timely manner and thus ensure seamless parlor operations.
f. Repair cold equipment in the cold store
g. Ensure cold store temperature standards are met at all times. To detect any potential refrigeration issues well in advances and take preventive actions.
h. Repair and troubleshoot of electrical equipment’s (Warmers, Waffle & Blendtech machines)

Desired Candidate Profile
 Diploma in refrigeration or relevant technical qualification.
 Hands on experience of installation and maintenance works of AC& refrigeration equipment.
 Around 3-5 years’ experience in the similar Industry. GCC experience is must.
