Job Description:
• Responsible for approval and posting of all accounting transactions in SAP system.
• Perform various reconciliation like bank, related parties, supplier, etc.
• Perform monthly financial closing and generating trial balance.
• Prepare family members statement of accounts.
• Prepare payments and bank transfers to suppliers and other stake holders.
• Prepare bank receipts and accrual of expenses and income.
• Update fixed assets and run depreciation at each month.
• Supervision of monthly payroll and disbursement of the same.
• Generate VAT input and output; register and file VAT return on periodic basis in coordination with Tax Controller.
• Ensure the proper management and maintenance of accounting transactions and records.
• Provide all accounting services in a cost effective and efficient manner to control expenditures of the company.
• Maintain financial and accounting records of the company and ensure that the accounting transactions are processed properly in the accounting system.
• Ensure that all accounting and financial reports are compiled and issued in the required time frame.
• Coordinate with and facilitate the work of external auditors.
• Ensure that the standards of quality and quantity of work are met and support the achievement of company strategic goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties as required by the Head of the department
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA) is a plus
Min 5-10 years relevant experience in financial & accounting particularly in Real Estate & Investments
Working experience in VAT & SAP is highly considered
Arab nationality preferred
