• Acknowledge and re-confirmed the color code given by the painter to mix colors as pre requested with appropriate volume of paint for the number of panel required.
• Must able to understand color matching and manual color mixing adjustment as per color required.
• Perform spray sample or test plate for color verification and variation shade.
• Must know basic computer knowledge in order to retrieve the color formula from system.
• Maintain paint stocks and consumables and prepare the ordering list as and when required.
• Liaise with Purchase Department for ordering the paint material & necessary consumable items.
• Maintain enough stock levels of paint booth filters are available & follow up with Purchase Department for the same.
• Maintain and update log book for paint booth maintenance.
• Follow up with Maintenance Department for the booth maintenance on regular intervals.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader (Painting) / Body Shop Supervisor.
