We are in search for a professional cook to be part of our community kitchen team. In this position, you will share the responsibility of ensuring that our menu items are being produced to the utmost perfection. The role requires an experienced individual that has a strong passion for creating a bevy of diverse food items by following our Executive chef’s ingredients and portions. The cook will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to maintain ideal food quality and enhance our customer’s satisfaction. The cook should have excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm to get things done in an efficient manner. Our cook must have prior experience in the industry and have a willingness to learn from those around them. It is essential that the cook has an understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipments and procedures. The cook must lead by example through implementation of optimal sanitary procedures and must be a willing teacher/trainer to all other members of the staff.

Produce/cook optimal high quality menu items by adhering to design and taste that follow
the standards of the established menu
Ensure the efficiency of the kitchen activities and meeting our quality standards
Always maintain a positive and professional approach with fellow kitchen co-workers
Have a disciplined approach and maintain order during kitchen operating hours
Organize the work in the kitchen so the workflow reflects on the final product
Manage and train kitchen staff by providing feedback whether positive or negative
Provide support to other kitchen employees and lead by example
Adopt an up-skilling mentality so all co-workers have an idea on how to produce the highest
standards of food quality
Provide recommendations that can increase profit
Have a problem solving mentality when needed and seize control of any negative situation that arises in the kitchen
Adhere to and make sure kitchen employees follow sanitation/safety regulations
Assist the management team in other potential requests and tasks when necessary
