Shall be responsible for performing casting activities as specified in the Company to ensure compliance to applicable Standards and Customer requirements
• Carries out Casting Operator duties assigned by the supervisor according to production requirements.
• To ensure sufficient availability of Casting consumables and tools required for CC operation
• Ensures that all Casting safeties in the machine are working and abides by the company policy to confirm to safety regulations.
• Ensures that Casting work area is clean and free of any obstacles or encumbrances to avoid Steel Making Plant hazards
• Confirm readiness of machine for new casting sequence and check machine parts.
• Follow the instruction for replacement the mould as well as reactive source
• Ensures the effective execution of casting operational policies covering all areas of the casting plant so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a cost -effective quality product to RM operation.
• In case of an emergency situation, co-operates and acts in accordance with the operational procedures/work instructions specified by the Casting Supervisor

Graduate/ Diploma
Minimum 5 Years in a Steel Plant as a casting operator
Technical knowledge of casting and casting parameters
