QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
The Nurse is responsible to respond to health emergencies, perform general assessment on patient and sanitation inspections, manage medical supplies and deliver health education to minimize the risk of health problems among the employees.
Handles all work within a specific area of the activity and ensures it is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating policies and procedures
Remains alert at all times in order to attend any case of employee health emergency within the premises so all emergencies are addressed promptly and adequately.
Performs general medical examinations to new and existing employees such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and any other examination that may be required to maintain a medical database of employees and to keep them informed of their general health status and standard.
Performs a monthly hygiene and sanitation inspection across all departments, particularly in kitchens,
bathrooms, laundry rooms, on bed sheets, and on the catering staff to ensure that cleanliness is maintained and health hazards are avoided
Manages clinic medical supplies such as over the counter medication by keeping it continuously updated to ensure uninterrupted supply of potentially required medication
Upon employee request for medication, assess the employee’s medical condition and provide the relevant medication accordingly to diminish the employee’s problematic symptoms
Ensures compliance with all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures, standards, controls and systems across manufacturing / resource management activities to guarantee employee health and safety, compliance with statutory and classification requirements, delivery of high quality work in line with quality control standards
Ensures compliance with all relevant quality and OHSE procedures, instructions and controls in order to guarantee the safety of employees, quality of products/ services and environment.
Motivates self and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account international leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Delegate’s authority to subordinates as part of Development.
Follows departmental policy and manages the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services.

Requirements:

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent certification

Registration / accredited by HAAD (Health Authority of Abu Dhabi)

5 years’ of nursing experience in relevant field
