Lead the efforts in deal origination for the Private Finance Program by liaising with UAE companies to promote UAE Private Financing in the development sector

The client is a government entity whose primary vision is to grow the economy of developing countries with financial assistance in the form of loans, as well as other sources of funding.

Description
Source and evaluate investment opportunities across target countriesBuild and maintain relationships with potential clients, banking and multilateral partners, and government officials to develop opportunitiesAccompany Government delegations to developing countries to understand investment opportunities for UAE companiesDevelop Country Potential Roadmap for countries assigned to them that will provides country-specific assessments and align Fund’s priorities with those of target GovernmentOversee preparation of project appraisal reports for presentation to Director of Private Finance Department and Credit CommitteeOversee the research and due diligence for project evaluationConduct seminars across relevant private sectors in the UAE to highlight opportunities for investments in developing countriesEvaluate, structure, negotiate, and close transactionsDevelop brief notes on potential deals to obtain Concept Clearance for detailed due diligenceLiaise with internal departments and external agencies to ensure all deals have appropriate documentation

Profile
Bachelor’s in Finance / Business AdministrationCFA certified preferred8 -10 years of experience in a similar roleExperience within Business Development and/or Corporate Credit from a Commercial Bank or Development FundMust be a UAE national
