Overall in charge and responsible for planning and execution of activities related to all aspects of container services to ensure meeting contractual obligations and client’s satisfaction
In charge of developing and maintaining procedures and work practices related to container services to ensure compliance to client’s requirements, SOPs, and pursuing service excellence
Responsible for the provision of a professional advice on all issues relevant to container services to ensure ultimate sound business decisions Acts as the main point of interface with the client to resolve and discuss all matters related to contracted services Administer provisions of the service contract to ensure minimum service down time and maximum revenues Responsible for the efficient allocation and management of personnel, equipment, and other resources to ensure optimum performance of services as per contract and client’s requirements Manages planning of day to day activities and leads front line operations in the yard and lining stations to ensure performance as per approved client’s schedules Establishes operations and efficiency levels to meet production targets in accordance to clients guidelines and business goals Regularly reviews operations’ SOPs, enforcing applicable rules and regulations as well as monitors team performance to ensure efficient application and accomplishment of tasks Formulates HSE regulations in accordance with client’s guidelines and agreed conditions and leads spot fire and safety inspections to ensure safety of personnel, environment, and facility assets as well as compliance to related safety regulations Identify fatal risks and maintains up to date risk hazard register to ensure precautions are implemented prior to issuance of work permits Ensures that all personnel are provided with sufficient safety training prior posting on the work place Lead incident investigation or assist client as required to ensure proper identification of root causes and follow up on corrective actions and close outs Responsible to submit periodical reports and records including KPIs and invoices to all concerned parties
Minimum Requirement:
Master degree in business administration or management with formal specialized training in material management and port operations Minimum of 15 years’ experience in related fields with 4 years in managerial position in core container terminal or similar type operations.
