Our client, a Global Digital Media and Broadcasting company is expanding their team and looking to hire a Finance Manager for their offices in Abu Dhabi. This role spearheads all aspects of a finance function, including management and financial accounting.

Description
Preparation of monthly management accounts (Net-suite)Preparation of Monthly PayrollMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsMonitor day-to-day financial operationsInter-company ManagementAssisting with budgets and forecastingCash flow Preparation to HQ (weekly reporting)Statutory accounts (Assisting local Audit Firm with preparation of annual statutory accounts)Assisting with annual audit (as per HQ requirements)Handling and resolving financial queries (government/internal/suppliers/contributors)Managing and developing Accounts Assistant (AP/AR)Fixed AssetsMonthly & Quarterly Reporting as per the timetableInterpreting financial information and dataProducing Financial ReportsEnsuring that strong financial controls and procedures are in placeCredit ControlDealing with bank institutions and government entitiesTreasuryAP/AR managementAssisting and working closely with FP&A;teamAny other Ad-hoc requirementsOverseeing Income Recognition, making sure income recognized is in line with US GAAPVAT returnsEmployee Expenses
Profile
ACCA/CIMA part/fully qualified or similarExtensive knowledge of ExcelKnowledge of all aspects of a finance function, including management and financial accountingStrong knowledge of accounting standards/US GAAP desirableExcellent verbal and written communicationComfortable with working in a demanding environmentExcellent organisation skills and the ability to manage conflicting and changing prioritiesAbility to plan, prioritise and work to tight deadlinesAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiative with minimum supervision
