Vacancy: Accountant –(6 month Contract)
Urgently required for our client in Abu Dhabi
Minimum Requirements:-
• Accounting Degree required
• Basic understanding of general accounting principles ERP knowledge /experience
• Written and spoken English is essential . knowledge of Arabic will be and added advantage
• 4 years in accounting/ Finance
• Carry out accounting functions and duties assigned by head of accounts payable.
• Deliver the assigned responsibilities in an efficient manner
• Ensure transaction instructions are according to guidelines so that they can be processed accurately
• Ensure management obtains required accounting information to make informed decisions
• Accounts payable data entry in Oracle A/P Module
• Maintain petty cash float and prepare monthly reconciliation with internal customers and the GL.
• Maintain record of cheques and ensure efficient delivery of cheques
• Prepare accounts payable related journal vouchers and payment
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Track expenses and ensure allocation to the right expense
