Service Sales Specialist

You will be working as a Service Sales Specialist and will be a part of the Electrification business for Distribution solutions business line based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this you will be reporting to EPDS Service Sales Manager and will be responsible for handling service sales for electrification business.
Your responsibilities:
Service Sales Delivery: Collaborating with the service sales manager or service manager to implement service sales strategies. Penetrating IB, promotes service portfolio and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB.
Understanding the sales strategy and prepare sales plans, review them and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
Installed Base Management: Utilizing service to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identify and develop sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB or new IBs in the market. Focusing on the entire service portfolio to secure profit for assigned business units or product groups. Updating installed base in ServIS (the approved service database) with the changes made at site.
New Opportunities: Generating service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios. Taking a one ABB approach to leverage other colleagues’ portfolios.
Customer Approach: Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product or solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle
Management (LCM). Registering customer feedback and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Sales Process: Selling entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s). Recording and monitor customer visits, opportunities and leads in SFDC. Preparing ABB’s service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the local service sales manager or service manager. Reviewing and advising on tender and contract documents in relation to projects to ensure compliance with local law as well as with ABB Group Directives, Instructions and guidelines. Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Negotiating contracts with clients and liaise with relevant parts of the group in the process, including the preparation of comments on customer contracts, to ensure the best possible commercial outcomes. Assist receivables team in collections of old or current receivables from customers.
Marketing: Acting as a marketer or salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings). Translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions.

Your background:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in electrical.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the service sales for low voltage switchgear products.
Required good communication and presentation skills is required.
