Job Description and Requirements
The Role
This role exists to execute all investment administration activities and analytical support to the Senior Investment peers, in order to provide up-to-date information regarding profit and loss, deal trades, company accounts and cash flow information, generating analytical reports and dashboards related to Investments and various Portfolio Performance reports for the investment and management team.
Monitor new and existing investments on a regular basis and prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports to the management
Supports day-today operations; assisting with reporting analysis and on-going run requirements
Perform due diligence and process KYC requirements for existing and new brokers/ custodians/ counterparties for various portfolio mandates and projects
Handle great volume of transactions in different asset classes that entails reconciliation with brokers and custodians on day to day basis.
Record and process corporate actions, securities transfers; perform administrative tasks; and provide administrative co-ordination with traders, Finance department and Investment team members.
Preparation of legal documentation or contract required to complete investment subscriptions and at the same time ensuring all compliance / legal regulations are fulfilled
Regular and day to day reconciliation of trades in variety of financial markets and industries
Work collaboratively with deal teams, accounting, corporate and legal; accurately summarize and present results to senior management
Liaise with custodians, settlements team and portfolio traders to facilitate trade settlements
Create streamlined presentation deck layouts for leadership review and various other dashboard templates for management reference
Provide ad-hoc analysis reports and risk management reports in accordance with Investment policy guidelines.
The Candidate
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong MS Excel and presentation skills with valuation experience
Resilient and flexible to be able to respond to changing circumstances and expectations
Solid Judgement, with Professional and Ethical behaviours
Basic understanding of portfolio management, investment lifecycle fundamentals of different asset classes, markets and business models
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Detail conscious
Excellent quantitative and fundamental modelling skills preferable
Must have Advent System Experience.
