Infra Communications Engineer/Senior Engineer

This job will require you to be open to work in night shifts when required and also be available on weekends when requried. Shift allowance and Comp offs would be provided respectively.
The role holder supports and maintains the telephony environments by planning, designing, developing, monitoring, maintaining and close supervision of communication system. In addition, he will participate in the installation, support, and optimisation of all communication systems.
• Install, configure and maintain and support IP telephony systems
• Monitors the performance and utilization of the communication systems using appropriate tools to proactively identify, analyze and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth and reliable systems operations for fulfilling business objectives
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to communication systems, also provide performance statistics and reports for smooth handover. Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures,
• Review and recommend technical components and communication equipment for operational projects to ensure that they are compatible with, or improve the existing communication network infrastructure.
• Work closely with telecom service providers
• Prepper RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, participate in the Committee for the Evaluation and Purchasing of communication Equipment to ensure it is in alignment with company strategy that satisfies the technical and quality requirements of the communication systems. Liaise with vendors regarding equipment specification and delivery ensuring that the requirements within the Request for Purchase are met.
المهارات
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computers or Engineering.
5 to 8 years of relevant experience and comprehensive knowledge of the various Unified Communications VoIP telephone system - Avaya and Cisco.
Professional Certifications Required
- Cisco CCIE-Voice
- Avaya VOIP certification
