Irrigation Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
Independently develops irrigation engineering design solutions for landscape projects to applicable codes and standards quality requirements.  This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.  Particular Tasks: Irrigation engineer will be expected to have a thorough working knowledge required to develop a fully resolved irrigation system, and specifically: Automatic irrigation system design;
Irrigation central system;
Irrigation tertiary system;
Irrigation sub-surface system;
Irrigation design calculations;
Irrigation design criteria;
Pipeline system design;
Connection chambers;
Irrigation wiring system;
Irrigation material specifications;
Standard irrigation details; Typically required to produce detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.  Interfaces with related infrastructure and utility disciplines. Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. 
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Irrigation Engineering (or related field) and 5+ years of related work experience in the design, construction and supervision of landscape and irrigation projects.
Experience working in Bentley Water CAD and Bentley Water Hummer Hydraulic modelling software (or similar).
Professional Registration preferred.
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering such as Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Microstation is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a requirement.
