Main Duties: •Designated as Well Control Specialist utilizes engineering background, analytical skills, practical experience and good judgment to identify and prevent potential well control risks/hazards related to well activities. Develops and maintain the Well Control SOP’s and also work with the Drilling Contractor to set up Preventive Maintenance (PM) processes and schedules to extend well control equipment lifetime while reduce /eliminate any potential well control incidents. 10 years’ experience in Drilling Engineering (design, analysis and optimization) and 5years’ experience in well control troubleshooting. •International experience is preferable. •Well Control Certified from IADC or IWCF or equivalent •Evidence of Authoring and/or Co-authoring Technical Publications in Petroleum journals and/or conference proceedings; preferable peer reviewed. •Familiar with industry standards, specifications, codes, and documentation related to well control equipment’s. |
