IELTS EXAMINER- Part Time

We are currently looking for suitably qualified and experienced professionals to be trained and join our teams of IELTS Examiners, mainly based in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & Dubai.
Please note this will be a freelance opportunity and hence no visa support can be provided. The candidate should have preexisting rights of working in UAE.

Requirements:
Education
An undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
CELTA or equivalent TEFL/TESOL qualification from a recognized institution (at minimum certificate level)
Or
EFL/ESOL related studies completed as part of an undergraduate/post graduate course from a recognized institution ( minimum certificate level equivalent)
Or
A degree in Education (if supported by an undergraduate degree which includes studies focused on the English Language)
All qualifications must be validated by a reputable institution and accredited by a professional certification board. If requested, applicants are required to provide additional information regarding their qualifications (e.g. transcript, course curriculum, evidence of external validation, accreditation by a certification standards board etc.).
Experience
At least 3 years’ full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one year post-certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
If an applicant’s EFL/ESOL qualification is at certificate level (or equivalent), one of the three year full-time teaching must be post EFL/ESOL certificate qualification. If the EFL/ESOL qualification is at Diploma level or higher, the teaching experience can have been completed before the qualification.

Examiners must be the equivalent of an IELTS Band 9 – this is an ‘Expert User’ on the IELTS Band Scale
AN APPLICANT;
Is required to be mainly based in Abu Dhabi or other cities, including Al Ain & Dubai.
Is required to be available for work mainly on Fridays & Saturdays. Other week days might also be required. 
Is required to be available for short trips to other cities for a day.
Must have work permit or residence permit in UAE.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Any applicant may be required to submit valid full IELTS Academic test result (TRF) with the band score of 9
Incomplete application will be rejected
Deadline : 31st September 2019
Short listing : 01st – 10th October 2019
Interviews : 15th October 2019 – 31st October 2019
Training & certification : November 2019
Examining Responsibilities
Conducting IELTS speaking interviews.
Marking IELTS writing script and speaking test.
Second marking for the writing and speaking modules.
Adhering to the IELTS Professional Support Network and IELTS policies. Attendance at Examiner and other relevant meetings as required.
Maintaining the reputation and integrity of IELTS exams at all times.
Managing information created and received in compliance with the IELTS’s information management standards, policies, the UK data protection principles and local legislation.
Participating in required IELTS training and applying relevant principles in carrying out duties; this includes Child Protection and Health and Safety
