POSITION: Chef de Partie/Commis de Cuisine
SALARY: up to 5,500 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications, plus accommodation, transportation, duty meal and benefits as per UAE Law
HIRING COMPANY: Luxury FnB Grouo (French Restaurant/Café)
WORK LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Open to any nationality preferably French speaking candidates
Male, 35 years old and below.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Degree/Certification/Training in Hotel Management/Culinary/ any relevant work experience
At least 2 years of proven experience in the same role in an upscale restaurant – prefreably French/Euopean concept
With background in French cuisine
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
Knowledge of best cooking practices and, hygiene and safety practices
Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for daily food preparation
Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors
Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis
Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
