Senior Project Manager - Logistics ORAT

Job Description and Requirements
ROLE:

Provides senior level project management of ORAT projects.  Responsible for scope development and scope management of particular ORAT projects or work streams covering operational planning, operational readiness, activation, trials and transition.  Develops and executes a structured approach for the activation and transition of new airport facilities from construction delivery into operational service whilst minimizing the risks of operational disruption associated with bringing large complex airport facilities into operational service.

Develop and define the ORAT scope for projects and/or work streams across people, process, facilities, systems & performance
Plans, and manages the execution of ORAT deliverables, associated work plans and effort utilizing a 180, 90, 60, 30 day countdown tracker
Manage the ORAT project lifecycle and deliverables through operational planning, operational readiness, activation, trials and transition stages
Engage and collaborate with operational stakeholders and client organizations to ensure alignment of the overall ORAT plan and that operational stakeholders are prepared and ready to commence operations
Monitors and reports on the progress of all projects activities within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedules
Develop, plan and manage the associated budget for ORAT projects / work streams
Ensure ORAT project documentation is maintained and passed to the client through to handover

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Degree level education or equivalent experience.
Project Management Certification
Minimum 8 years of related work experience
Has held a lead ORAT role and led an ORAT trials program or has operational / passenger management experience and held a key role as either an operator/client in an ORAT Program.
Preferably from a logistics background for an airport or other similar large scale public facility / complex.
Good knowledge and exposure to ORAT trials and has developed and led Trials in previous roles.
Good understanding of logistics management for an airport and associated performance metrics, i.e. Levels of Service (LOS) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Thorough understanding of logistics management principles as well as standard and irregular operating processes (SOPs & IOPs).
