الوصف الوظيفي
1. Job Purpose
To provide food preparation support to the National Aquarium.
2. Nature & Scope
The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that all food required for The National Aquarium is prepared and organized on a daily basis.
3. Dimensions
Interacts with the curatorial team to ensure the specific animal diet is achieved on a daily basis.
4. Principal Accountabilities
· All animal food for the Aquarium is prepared on a daily basis in time for daily operations and shows.
· All food preparation areas are well maintained and all equipment failures are reported.
· All food preparation areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
· Ensure that fish feeding containers are filled on a daily basis in time for daily operations.
· All food used is recorded and records passed onto the exhibits supervisor.
· The fridge and freezer are maintained in an orderly manner.
· Performs and follows food inventory and ensures supply reporting to the |Senior Aquarist
· Receiving of food stocks from the supplier.
· Follows Health and Safety Protocols.
· Ensures correct daily record keeping.
· Ensure all rubbish is removed on a daily basis.
· Assist Aquarist as needed.
· Other duties as directed by the Aquarist Supervisor.
