Accountant

Job Description and Requirements
The Accountant will work as part of the Finance team in UAE head office on the full spectrum of financial operations and accounting functions leading to the monthly closing and full set of books for Abu Dhabi Branch.

Financial Operations Responsibilities

Billings to customers & accounts receivable functions, accounts payable and payments, payroll processing & expense reimbursement, intercompany transactions, cash flow management/ forecast, CAPEX tracking & fixed assets accounting

Accounting & Tax Responsibilities

Full Scope of reporting responsibility including month end management accounts, statutory reporting, and compliance, which involves direct labor costing (based on timesheets), project accounting & gross margin analysis.

Job Requirements:

Recognized qualification or degree in accounting with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity and handling full sets of accounts;
Good knowledge of UAE laws and labor regulations for local payroll
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a working knowledge of Navision or any ERP system, will be advantageous
Strong analytical skills, meticulous and possesses good interpersonal skills
Pro-active team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
