الوصف الوظيفي The Specialist renders appropriate care for inpatient adult patients (>14years) who are generally medically stable and receiving intensive rehabilitation post injury or illness (neuro/medical). Diagnoses and treats medical conditions, co-ordinates investigations/referrals as necessary, provides patient and family education, facilitates/co-ordinates interdisciplinary, goal-oriented plans of care, facilitates discharge planning and patient and family meetings alongside Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultants. RequirementsDesired Qualifications: Board Certified/MRC/MD/MS in Internal Medicine. Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is an advantage. License: Eligible for Department of Health - Abu Dhabi license as Specialist Internal Medicine Preferred Experience: Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Internal Medicine. Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience after completing the post qualification. Three years specialist experience post qualification. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and multi-disciplinary team members. Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education. Willing to render 24 hours coverage (on call room on site) (48hrs per week). Willing to be basing in Abu Dhabi Candidates based outside UAE are welcome to apply.
