Role Description
The Training and Certification Coach (T&C;Coach) is responsible to support Teacher Development Coaches (TDC) as it pertains to certifying teachers according to Certification framework. T&C;Coaches also provide direct coaching and mentoring to teachers to help them graduate through the certification levels. Serving as an expert in coaching and mentoring, T&C;Coaches support training events, webinars, conferences, in-school meetings, and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). They should be comfortable speaking to diverse audiences. They create content, articles, training resources, and guides as well as maintain impeccable records and files. They also serve on the Certification panel to review teacher portfolios and ensure teachers effectively graduate through the various levels of certification. T&C;Coaches are brand champions and advocates as well as key point of support for the in-school delivery teams as well as teachers. Success is measured by completing key training events as well as certifying a determined number of teachers per set targets.
Job Specific Responsibilities
• Foster a collaborative culture of open communication, shared ideas and problem solving to enhance teachers’ experience and perceptions of the Certification program
• Build strong relationships with Teacher Development Coaches, Relationship Managers, and teachers, anticipating needs and providing ongoing support for the evolution of teacher competencies
• Ensure school teachers receive timely information and are working toward clear goals and action plans to improve pedagogy, learner outcomes, and engagement per the framework
• Conduct teacher training events such as onboarding, Professional Learning Communities, teacher meetings, conferences, and other events
• Create content to support training events and articles in the Teacher Community etc
• Support research related to teacher data collection and analysis to identify opportunities

Key Performance Indicators
• Teacher confidence and competence to adopt the Learning Platform and become champions
• Quality of overall customer service provided to TDCs and teachers
• Number of training events hosted and satisfactory results per surveys etc
• KPIs and/or benchmarks met such as # of teachers certified per annual targets.
Education, Experience and Required Skills
• Advanced degree related to Education, Leadership, Psychology (Coaching etc)
• Strong knowledge and usage of educational technology tools in the classroom.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in K-12 environment.
• Experienced in training teachersin the usage of technology in the classroom.

• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum standards and assessments.
• Experience using frameworks and tools
• Understanding of certification standards and how to implement.
• Experience delivering and hosting training events

• Expertise in 21st Century Learning Concepts and emerging pedagogies
• Change Agent; ability to work with TDCs and teachers to communicate a clear vision of goals and targeted achievements;
• Relationship Builder; ability to quickly establish credibility, influence and trust with other team members in order to better drive results
• Deadline oriented; ability to articulate priorities and revise plans to meet tight deadlines Organized
• Fluently bilingual (English / Arabic) preferred
