We have a job opportunity for the position of “Technical Supervisor“ for Abu Dhabi location with one of our leading client. Please reply with your updated CV if you find the job role suitable.

SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE
To provide the mechanical repair services and routine maintenance of the Port Mobile Equipment to a high standard to ensure the availability to its maximum operational use.
SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities:
1. To organize the Workshop facilities and staff.
2. Ensure plant and equipment (mechanical) is maintained in a safe and reliable working condition in accordance with planned maintenance.
3. Monitor and develop mechanical staff to ensure technical skills necessary for maintenance of Port equipment.
4. To have available in service sufficient plant and equipment to meet the needs of the Operating Department.
5. To ensure the team of mechanics work with conformity to all safety regulation and procedures of the company.
6. Ensure the data’s are entered into the CMMS.
7. Ensure the mechanical service done along with the planned mechanical maintenance for the maximum machine availability.
8. Prepare the job plan for the maintenance according to manufactures recommendation in a cost effective way.
9. To follow up projects with contractors, preparation and review of contractors tender documents up to the final handing over.
10. The works are carried out from the workshops by a team of skilled technical staff, working around the 2 working shifts or extension upon requirement.
11. Comply with the requirement of health and safety Policies, Processes and Procedures

SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational and Technical Qualifications: • Minimum High school/Diploma Mechanical
Language Skills: • Ability to write in a clear concise manner and to communicate effectively in English
• Arabic or knowledge in other languages will be an advantage
Years of Experience: • Minimum (5) years in a similar position
Nature of Experience: • Experience in a Port or similar environment
