The purpose of the role is to lead advertising sales at The company. Delivering against target and managing the sales team on a day to day basis. The individual needs to be hands on and someone who can work across print and digital. They will be required to drive relationships across agencies, clients and networks. An understanding of content, native marketing and the value of data are essential as well as the ability to present and manage high level relationships. 5 to 10 years experience within the media advertising industry is essential.

1. Achieve sales targets through effective team management.
2. Utilise existing relationships with agencies and clients to drive revenues rapidly.
3. Responsible for setting a sales strategy in line with the commercial and editorial directions of The company
4. Advise and assist team members to help each employee achieve their targets and objectives. Managing the sales pipeline on a daily basis.
5. Drive the sales culture by sharing best practices, developing and sustaining cross departmental relationships and ensuring sales procedures and policies are implemented and followed
6. Set and measure performance targets for team members
7. Conduct accurate forecasting and reporting
8. Ensure the sales team has the relevant sales tools and general means to perform its role
9. Upholds and respects the social, cultural and moral standards of life in the UAE as well as the political and strategic national direction. Guides staff under his/her supervision to avoid circumstances in which the brand could be brought into disrepute and to respect the custodianship of IMI and its constituents.
