Job Description and Requirements Stantec is seeking qualified candidates for a Process Safety Engineer for our Abu Dhabi office. Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to: HSE&S;project technical delivery/management and coordination Conducting Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) Performing Parts Count, Fault Tree and Event Tree Analysis Performing consequence modeling using DNV Phast and interpretation of results Conduct Bowtie and ALARP Analysis Development of Emergency System Survivability Analysis (ESSA), Evacuation, Escape And Rescue Analysis (EERA), Fire Risk Assessment (FRA), Fire and gas mapping study Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Study HSEIA and Safety Case Development Participation in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PHSER, SIMOPS, MOPO, ENVID, OHID workshops Identification and development of safety critical elements (also referred as HSECESs) Writing technical reports; proposal perpetration Other HSE, Process Safety and Asset Integrity Related Activities. Title: Process Safety Engineer (part-time) Qualifications: •Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited University. • At least 5 years of UAE experience in consultancy or engineering organization; • Excellent communication and technical report writing skills; • Proactive, fast learner, self-motivated characteristic with good organizational and team working skills; • Experience with local oil and gas projects is preferred. • Valid residence visa, preferably on husband’s/ father’s sponsorship. #LI-SK1 Job Category: Process Engineer |
