Senior Instrumentation Specialist - MMIS (Nuclear)

Job Description and Requirements
* Conduct MMIS maintenance job tasks in a timely manner and with quality to achieve highest level of safety and reliability in the MMIS Instrumentation area.
* Conduct maintenance activities on the systems turned over to plant operations to ensure operational readiness.
* Provide proper oversight of Long-Term Maintenance Agreement (LTMA) contractors performing tasks noted in this section to ensure alignment of Instrumentation MMIS maintenance activities.
* Monitor important commissioning tests (cold hydro test, hot functional test, power ascension test and performance test) to ensure compliance with regulatory and industrial requirements.
* Provide input in developing maintenance strategy and skills to increase the effective maintenance work.
* Collaborate with quality assurance (QA), Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) audit and international peer reviews (World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO)) to implement best practices from other plants.
* Participate in the technical review of operating license documents to ensure safe plant operation.
* Participate in the technical review of service contract documents and manage the contractor to ensure best maintenance practices.
* Review work packages for operation and outage maintenance activities to increase systems availability.
* Provide technical oversight and front line supervision of the LTMA contractor on Instrumentation related maintenance activities to ensure quality work and compliance with Nawah procedures.
* Review the overall maintenance outage plan and schedule for better understanding of the processes.
* Coordinate with other colleagues for equipment interface management to increase communication skills and equipment efficiency.
* Implement maintenance and surveillance test procedure results to ensure safe plant operation.
* Consolidate the list of spare parts and secure critical spare parts to ensure system operability.
* Review equipment master list and requests to incorporate in Operation Management System (OMS) to improve knowledge of the implemented programs.
* Implement foreign material exclusion (FME) program and support FME coordinator to ensure plant safety and operability.
* Implement Corrective Action Program (CAP) and support to analyze, address, and correct deficiencies.
* Establish mobilization plan to ensure a reliable and safe operation of plant.
* Provide support to the Head of Instrumentation - MMIS to produce a high standard self-assessment to comply with Nawah policy.
* Provide support to Plant Maintenance department to ensure organizational excellence.
* Execute troubleshooting process on MMIS systems and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
