Job Description and Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
ROLE PURPOSE
To participate in the planning and execution of the engagement for the assigned corporate/business function(s) in order to identify key risks and controls and to provide corrective actions.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE TO BE ABLE TO DO THE JOB
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a complex organisation or a Big 4 firm, and preferably with experience working in various industries.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
 Bachelor Degree as well as an internationally recognized CIA (Chartered Internal Auditor) or accounting qualification, preferably a chartered accountant.
JOB SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS
 Risk Awareness & Strong Decision Making (particularly with a lack of information).
 Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
 Interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills – ability to interact and influence senior management (Chiefs).
 Proficient in Communication and Stakeholder management.
 Computer Skills – proficient in Word, Excel, PPT, Office. Working knowledge of databases and experience in auditing or at least working with SAP or other Internal Audit software (e.g. ADAA eGovernance Portal).
 Good knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
 Knowledge of Internal Audit principles.
 Knowledge of COSO risk assessment framework.
 Knowledge of process mapping and control identification, with the ability to identify gaps and control deficiencies and clearly report them.
