Accountant

الوصف الوظيفي
Two firms in Abu Dhabi/Al Ain (one architecture one healthcare) are looking to hire experienced accountants. 2 positions are available one for each firm. The job responsibilities include:
Responsible for all accounting related activities including project accounting and status accounting
Liaise with banks as necessary to support financial and accounting needs
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Preparation of bank reconciliation
Preparation of Invoices Following-up of payments
Preparation of accounting reports as required
Verifying the invoice/calculation of the sub-contractor/supplier Preparation of payroll
Preparation of petty cash Verifying invoices received from supplier, sub-contractors, employees, etc.
Filing of VAT Other necessary accounting works as required
For Architecture
Experience in Architecture/Engineering firms is a plus
For Health
Experience in health care facilities is a plus
Education
BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree Other certifications a plus
