We are looking for a experienced & qualified Senior Accountant to join our company in UAE.
Brief description:
Verify and Reconcile Inventory
Perform ledger scrutinity to ensure accuracy of General Ledger
Assistance in the Annual audit process
Preparation/ Review of Bank reconciliations
Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Provide input into department’s goal setting process
Plan, assign and review staff’s work
Support month-end and year-end close process
Liaise with our Finance Manager to improve Financial Procedures
Conduct stock audits and suggest improvements to existing procedures

المهارات
Proven experience as an Accountant or an Auditor with knowledge of basic accounting principles
Awareness of business trends.
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Hands-on experience with ERP Packages
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Education:
- Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts
Experience:
- 3 to 5+ years accounting/finance experience;
- Experience in ERP/Computerized Accounting
- Experience in the Manufacturing/ Retail or Trading/ Distribution Business
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
Ability to meet assigned deadlines in timely manner
Skills:
- Excellent in English communication and should have interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
- Expert Knowledge on Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
