الوصف الوظيفي Provide innovative leadership for the ADVETI system of secondary and post-secondary Vocational and Training Institutes. Develop and maintain a vision for the ADVETI’s growth in quality programs and services that integrates the workforce needs of the UAE as the basis for new programs and curriculum. Coordinate and sustain collaborative leadership with the Managing Director, the Institute Directors, and School Director and the Senior Managers and other administrators as appropriate in accomplishing the educational mission of ADVETI. Provide leadership for strategic planning, curriculum development, assessment, evaluations, and the use of quality improvement techniques. Provide successful involvement with initiatives that provide on-going professional development of both new and continuing faculty and staff. Provide leadership for budgeting and resource allocation for the ADVETI system Integrate technology throughout the curriculum. Provide innovative and insightful leadership to the academic community and strengthen partnerships with institutions, organizations, businesses, and individuals that enhance ADVETI’s reputation and academic ties to the community. Responsible for the development of ADVETI Institutes academic calendar in compliance with ACTVET standards Provide guidance and leadership for the in-service training of the faculty Assist in the selection of new faculty and staff Lead the effective use of the Student Information Systems for system wide reporting Assume other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Managing Director المهارات Ten years experience in progressively responsible administrative and Leadership positions in Post-Secondary & Vocational Education System. Experience as a full time faculty member or student services administrator at the secondary and post-secondary level Leadership experience in multi campus systems of secondary and post-secondary education Knowledge of Vocational Education frameworks for secondary and post-secondary education Experience managing complex multi campus budgets driven by cost per student analysis Experience in partnering with multiple constituencies and evidence of effective decision making, communication, collaboration, and facilities skills Understanding of Educational Technology data systems and Student Information Systems Education Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Academic credentials that will obtain the immediate respect of faculty, staff and would achieve favorable consideration as measured by the standards of ADVETI Understanding of secondary & post-secondary financial accountability Experience in the area of program and curriculum development Leadership experience in facilitating and supporting the initiatives for development of quality vocational programs to match the UAE labor market A demonstrated understanding of the student recruitment, the retention process and the appreciation of the creative strategies by which programs are developed to meet the needs of the local workforce Experience with national and regional accreditation processes, learning outcomes assessment, professional designations and certifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, directors and external audiences Ability to foster an atmosphere of trust and collegiality within ADVETI institutes and schools A demonstrated support for the delivery of academic programs with consistent quality across the systems Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using the English language. تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/uae/jobs/director-academic-affairs-3847175/ |
